On Wednesday 5/18/2022, Bruin Shelter had the pleasure of hosting a zoom panel on healthcare accessibility for the unhoused community in Los Angeles.

Our lovely guest speakers were Randall Kuhn from UCLA Center for the Transformation of Schools, Mary Marfisee from Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, Edwin Rivera from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, and JoAnn Hemstreet from UCLA Health Homeless Healthcare Collaborative. Together, we discussed the various health disparities that exist, and the causes/symptoms of houselessness as well.
