Food Resources Program

About

We have finished reruiting recipients for the Food Resources Program for Winter 2025, please check back in for future opportunities!

Bruin Shelter’s Food Resources Program is a program designed to provide free, comprehensive groceries to UCLA students facing food insecurity.

We serve shelf-stable foods, fresh produce, and a variety of proteins. This includes items such as eggs, chicken, sausage, rice, vegetables, snacks, bread, and more.

Our goal is to provide groceries that can last at least two weeks and can be used for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Alongside groceries, we collaborate with BruiNeccesities to provide hygiene kits and Ackerman gift cards.

Our goal is to also host supplemental events to increase our reach. In the past, we have had an end-of-the-year dinner and grocery distribution event.
